Vieri Cervelli Montel was born in 1995 in Florence but has its roots in Sardinia and Normandy. Musician and singer of jazz formation, combines the collective radical improvisation with a personal poetic that disregards the aesthetic codes of musical genres and operates its destructure in hybrid and contaminated songs. On his debut as a soloist with a contemporary and countercurrent reinterpretation of the classic At least you in the universe, in 2021 he started a tour opening at IOSONOUNCANE, who collaborated as producer on Vieri’s debut album, I [first]. IOSONOUNCANE himself will decide to make it the first record released by his new Tanca Records label, in May 2022. I [first], a highly autobiographical concept album of songs elaborated through radical improvisation and electronic manipulation, becomes a small editorial case for an absolute debut, being presented at Campo Teatrale in Milan and at the Centro di Ricerca Teatro San Leonardo in Bologna in two sold-out events, and exhausting the limited vinyl circulation in a few months. In March 2023 comes out deer, a single multiform and reckless that openly confronts monumental codes of music to dance, such as reggaeton and hardcore techno, to put them at the service of fragile and re-enactment words, and bring them down in an unconoclasted ending.
